GPS Data

GPS location is accessed only while the app is actively recording a run with the foreground service running. LDIL never accesses your location in the background or outside of an active run session. The foreground service displays a persistent notification while active so you always know when GPS is in use.

After you save a run, the GPS route file is uploaded to Cloudflare R2 for route verification and is displayed on your run summary screen. To request deletion of your GPS data or any other personal data, email us at hello@ldil.app.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data including run records and GPS route files is permanently deleted within 24 hours in accordance with the DPDP Act 2023.

Cross-Border Data Processing

Cloudflare and Firebase are global services that may process data outside India. LDIL relies on these processors' compliance with applicable international data protection standards. By using LDIL you consent to this processing. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.
